Presentation of German Courses September 2024
The ILV, the Language Institute of the UCLouvain, offers general and specialised German courses from beginner to advanced level.
Our course units (the French initialism is “UE”) follow communicative and learning methods based on the CEFR, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
We offer two types of units which are open to all students :
1) Faculty course units
⇢ Select your faculty (FIAL or ESPO) to find out which German course units are offered at Bachelor's and Master's level...
2) "All faculties" course units
UCLouvain students can take 'all faculties' German courses
- either as part of their annual programme (subject to approval by the language course coordinator and then by their faculty's selection committee),
- or outside their programme, i.e. as 'Free students'.
Members of staff and people from outside UCLouvain are also entitled to attend all faculties German courses.
