My PhD study focuses on the response of global vegetation to orbital forcing, CO2, and ice sheets in previous interglacial periods, particularly MIS11 and MIS-13. The work is mostly based on climate model simulations. The impact of difference forcings and key mechanisms are investigated. Proxy records are also included in the study to compare with the modeling results. I also have a background in forestry and ecology
