FRIDAY AFTERNOON
While Thursday and Friday provide a classic (but appealing) scientific program, a new and exciting activity is scheduled on throughout the week. In collaboration with our partners from WeLoveDataScience a statistics / data science competition will be organized.
The competition subjects will be announced on Thursday morning (October 12th) for the participants that have registered for it. The final team composition will be confirmed the day before (October 11th) and on Friday afternoon (October 20th) teams will give lightning presentations on their obtained results. Participants are allowed and encouraged to interact and work throughout the week on the subjects and the "Best StatsComp" contribution will be rewarded with a prize.
Please use the link below to register for the competition (participation is free of charge, but participants must register):

We very much hope that all conference participants (especially all PhD candidates, but also their supervisors and everyone else!) will join us for that friendly competition.
