This seminar will consist of two parts. First, as Deputy Editor of Business & Society, I will provide you with some insights in the journal and we can discuss any question you have. Second, we will reflect upon the notion of ‘positionality’ in research and the influence it may have on how research is conducted its outcomes and results.

"The pot carries its maker’s thoughts, feelings, and spirit. To overlook this fact is to miss a crucial truth, whether in clay, story, or science.” I invite you to read the article from Admiral Munyaradzi Manganda reflecting on his research positionality as someone born in Zimbabwe, moving to New Zealand while he was a teenager and conducting a PhD project on indigenous entrepreneurship. This short paper can help us to think and reflect on our own research positionality.
