Having reached the end of the PICesc project, initiated two years ago, Anca Ioana VOICU and Julie HERMANS will present the results of this research.
Presented as one of the key stages in the innovation process, increasing attention is being brought to co-creativity (Amabile et Pratt, 2016; Hauser, Tellis et Griffin, 2006). Starting from the premise that everyone can be creative, which conditions enable collective creativity to emerge within organisations and institutions? In the context of a 2 year R&D project in collaboration with VO Group, a Brussels-based creative agency, we investigated in which conditions co-creative teams generate more creative ideas. Among individual factors (e.g. regulatory focus, personality traits, creative self-efficacy, etc.), collective factors (e.g. psychological security, etc.), tools and canvas, the spatial facility hosting co-creative teams may also impact the creative results. Looking at the literature on creative spaces and empirical data, this session proposes elements that contribute to fostering co-creativity.
Please join this presentation and register no later than 19 August.
