Face-to-face debate

Thursday, 18 April 2024
12.45 pm-14.00 pm
Louvain-la-Neuve
Auditoire Georges Lemaître (A10)
Place des Sciences

During March, four first-round election debates were held in Saint-Louis Brussels, Mons, Brussels Woluwe and Louvain-la-Neuve. These debates were recorded and can be replayed (see below).

A fifth debate is being organised as part of the second round. It will bring together the two candidates nominated in the first round of voting, Geneviève Schamps and Françoise Smets.

As in the first round, the debate will be moderated by Fabrice Lambert, an independent journalist and regular contributor to the Première programme "Tendances Première".

It will take a different form from previous debates, with varied forms of exchange leaving more room for questions from the university community and interaction between the candidates.

The debates will once again be broadcast live and recorded, so that you can watch or re-watch them at your convenience.

As a reminder, the second round of the rectoral election will take place from 22 to 24 April 2024.
