This volume examines the tensions and controversies surrounding energy, ecological and social transitions, using tools from the humanities and social sciences, in particular the information and communication sciences. The various studies collected here, written by university experts in environmental communication, analyse numerous case studies and explore transitions in a range of fields, from agriculture to territorial policies, and from online and media communication to citizen participation mechanisms.
