Article de vulgariation - Cet été, l'Avenir est parti à la découverte de recherches menées à l’UCLouvain qui oeuvrent à un monde plus durable.Le monde de l’entreprise est souvent associé à la recherche, à tout prix, de la croissance et du profit. Pourtant, face aux enjeux du développement durable, les entreprises ont un rôle non négligeable à jouer. Certaines
l’ont déjà compris, en mettant en place des politiques de responsabilité sociétale poussée.
On regroupe sous le terme de responsabilité sociétale des entreprises (RSE), les initiatives et décisions d’une entreprise qui intègrent les enjeux sociaux et environnementaux.

Conférence - Sortir indemne du whistleblowing: utopie ou réalité?

Le 4 décembre 2018, Transparency International Belgium et la Louvain School of Management ont coorganisé une conférence débat sur le whistleblowing dans le cadre du cours de master Business Ethics and Compliance Management encadré par Carlos Desmet.

Pas moins de 160 étudiants et professionnels se sont enregistrés pour cet évènement pour écouter et interagir (via l'application Wooclap ) avec l'impressionnant panel du jour composé de Mona Caroline Chammas (Fondatrice de GOVERN&LAW et conseillère Government & Business), Philippe Dechamps (General Counsel et Company Secretary au Celyad), Thierry Gillis,(Inspecteur général à General Inspectorate of the Federal and Local police) et Alain Lallemand (journaliste chez Le Soir); et moderé par Wim Vandekerckhove(Transparency International, Reader in Business Ethics, Human Resources et Organisational Behaviour à l'University de Greenwich).
