Attendance (compulsory for the PhD-researchers) to the course LFIAL 2555 (‘Histoire des sciences du Moyen-Âge’, 30 hours) given every other year at the Faculté de Philosophie, Arts et Lettres jointly by Godefroid de Callataÿ and Baudouin Van den Abeele.
Attendance (compulsory for the PhD-researchers) to the course LHIST 2401 (‘Histoire et gestion de données’, 15 hours) given every year at the Faculté de Philosophie, Arts et Lettres by Frédéric Vesentini.
Presentation of papers on the occasion of the yearly seminars organized by the ‘Centre de Recherche en Histoire des Sciences’, by the ‘Centre d’Etudes du Moyen Âge et de la Renaissance’ or on the occasion of any other relevant seminars, workshops or congresses in Belgium or abroad in agreement with the promoters of the project. On some occasions, researchers will also be given the opportunity to attend a seminar or a workshop without having to present a paper.
Submission of reviews for academic journals such as Scriptorium (Bulletin Codicologique), Cahiers de recherches médiévales et humanistes, Micrologus, Le Muséon, Revue d’Etudes Orientales, Brynn Mawr Classical Review, Lettres Romanes, and so on.
Occasionally, our researchers will also be invited to give advice to students being currently involved in the writing of a Master’s Thesis in connection with medieval encyclopaedism.
