For the first time, 19 students from Louvain School of Management (LSM) embarked on an enriching journey to New York. This trip was part of the International Entrepreneurship course taught by Professor Frank Janssen to INEO students, but also to LSM International Business and Innovation Management students.

Throughout the week, the students immersed themselves in the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem of New York. They had the unique opportunity to visit several companies, ranging from innovative startups to established enterprises. These visits provided invaluable insights into the dynamic world of entrepreneurship, allowing students to witness firsthand the challenges and triumphs faced by entrepreneurs.

The students were warmly welcomed by the Consulate General of Belgium in New York. Furthermore, the Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce hosted the students where they received tips on securing opportunities in the United States (U.S.), and how to present themselves effectively to U.S. companies. Finally, the students had the privilege of visiting the United Nations Headquarters.

The week concluded with a visit to the prestigious Columbia University campus where the students explored the academic environment.

Overall, this week was filled with a variety of enriching experiences that significantly enhanced the students' understanding of entrepreneurship. The exposure to different business environments and the opportunity to network with industry professionals were invaluable.

LSM extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the people and organisations involved in making this trip a success. Thanks to your support and hospitality, our students have been inspired and motivated to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.
