Dear UCLouvain University Community,
We are at an important first stage in the rectoral election process at our University.
The first vote is due to take place in a few days’ time.
If I had to remember one word from this adventure, it would obviously be boldness.
Not boldness for boldness’s sake, but a thoughtful and nuanced boldness.
Boldness to question knowledge and certitudes, define new aspirations together, aim high and far for our University.
We deserve it; our entire community deserves it.
We deserve to be proud of our Alma Mater. We deserve to feel comfortable, fulfilled and happy.
Together let’s dare to build a bold University full of purpose!
Perhaps I myself was bold to stand as a candidate?
Thank you for your encouragement, suggestions and questions. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my vision and ideas with you.
Whatever the outcome of the election, I will remain committed to our University and community.
Now it is up to you to exercise your democratic right. Vote for a person who will be able to guide an inspired and inspiring rectoral team in serving the well-being of each and every one of us.
